I've tried many products and I still can't get my acne and acne scars to disappear. The list is:
-Neutrogena Acne Scar Removal
-Clean and Clear Acne Removal Package
-Terminator 10
-Mederma
and recently I just got a facial (recommended by a friend) and the masseuse recommended the following products:
-Jean d'Arcel Face Tonic
-Jean d'Arcel Face Cleanser
-Jean d'Arcel Couperose Cream
I'll give this a shot and see how it works. What are people's opinions in regards to ZENMED products? I don't have enough money to see a dermatologist so I hope I can find some good advice through the internet.Best medication to cure acne/acne scars?
Stop. Why do you think that you do not have enough money to see a dermatologist? Have you asked? I called one once and explained that I didn't have insurance, what could be worked out, and I paid $50 for the visit and got free samples from the office of real medicine that worked for real and forever (Accutane). Scars lessen with time or acid and anything over the counter isn't going to be strong enough to make a difference without multiple use. Think about it a year of facials and the crap they sell you will probably equal to or be considerably less then one chemical peel in a doctors office that really works.Best medication to cure acne/acne scars?
Vitamin C is a proven collagen booster. If you use a topical preparation of Vitamin C that gets absorbed by the skin that may help treat acne scars. Vitamin A derivatives such as retinoids are also collagen boosters. They also increase the turnover of skin cells. Any retinoid preparation can help treat acne scars. We must note that deep acne scars will not improve with topical preparations. Only superficial scars may improve.
You should persist with Mederma for a longer period.

Well, by the time we spend all our money on OTC products, we could have spent it all at the dermatologist. Be careful with the amt of items you are putting on your face it can make the breakouts worse. Less on the perfumey items and more natural things. As far as the scars, you could try some of the lightening or banishing creams out there by Avon and other brands, but you have to be careful since they can cause you to break out.
You should check and see how much it is to see a dermatologist or see if your GP will refer you to one, you might be shocked and also if your spending money on all these products why not save that money for a month or two and use that to see one!
If I get spots I put Lavander oil neat straight on to it as soon as I feel it coming up or as soon as I see it (if you try this - check you are buying the right oil, do not buy the oil you burn - buy pure essential oil). I get mine from Holland %26amp; Barrett, and usually my spots have gone either the next day or its dried up and then disappears soon after.
Good luck..
You can also try this remedy. Mix lemon juice, rose water and glycerin in equal quantities. Apply daily before retiring to bed. Eat a lot of green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, beans, peas, lettuce, etc. A salad and fruit should be taken daily. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
