how can you eliminate scars caused by acne??Acne pimple scars help please!!?
See a dermatologist--they can prescribe a chemical exfoliator (a retinoid like Differin or Retin-A, or an alpha-hydroxy acid) to help scarring. This will smooth skin and promote turnover of new cells to heal the skin. I have had really bad acne for years and I have tried every over-the-counter scar treatment and nothing has helped. My dermatologist is excellent and has prescribed me medications to clear up my acne and scars and the progress so far is wonderful! (personally, I have found 0.3% Differen to be the most effective for scarring, but your dermatologist will be able to evaluate your skin and determine what would be best for you)Acne pimple scars help please!!?
Retin A cream (aka vitamin acid cream) and an exfoliating cream (like a glycolic acid) can make a slight difference. But don't set your expectations too high. The scars will smooth out over time, but never completely disappear.
There are laser treatments that are thousands of dollars and they burn off a layer of the skin. They're not a 100% guaranteed though.
Also some microdermabrasion will give you temporary results and make your skin feel smoother.
Sorry, my acne scars have never gone away.My skin forms keloids where it has been damaged. Some MDs have offered to do some medical stuff, but it sounded like sandpapering or removing layers of skin. My skin is moderately dark so I didn't want to risk it on my face. There used to be itching and sometimes soreness on my back and chest, but that is now gone except for once or twice a year.
My acne was very active in my 20's and I am now in my 50's.
try getting a microdermabrasion kit. it can be removed professionally but i'd try an at home treatment first if they aren't that bad.
you can't just use coverup and avoid picking at them.
I use Neutrogena Clear Pore Treatment. it seems to help with the blemishes and marks left behind from pimples. good luck!
try an exfoliating face mask
Don't pop your zits.
i dont think so.
But try neosporin, or something
