Washing your face.Acne pimpl scars on forhead..-_-;; helllpppp?
well next time definitely do not pop them. This causes acne scarring and can sometimes just cause more acne to appear surrounding the area due to the applied pressure and present bacteria. Acne isnt a skin condition limited to teenagers. The best way to treat acne is to get to the source of the problem. What kind of skin do you have oily/dry? If your skin is oily you need to make sure you are washing your face enough, with a mild soap, such as Dove, and patting dry with a washcloth. If your skin is dry, be sure you are using a non-scented facial moisturizer. No matter what your skin type it is essential to moisturize, to replenish the moisture so your skin doesnt attempt to compensate. Dont touch your face either, this leaves oils on the skin. I find it best to moisturize by putting the moisturizer on a towel and patting it onto your face. (this also allows the moisturizer to sink in so your face isnt left with white splotches all over) Seasons can also affect acne. Winter will cause your skin to be more dry, and summer more sweat will be accumulating. Be sure to adjust your skincare routine accordingly. You will probably need to wash more in the summer and moisturize more in the winter. My personal regimen doesnt change that much. I just tend to wash my face with water and sometimes mild soap after excersizing. Drinking water is also essential to healthy skin care. Water will flush toxins from your body that would otherwise end up as acne. Watching your diet is important as well. This is now believed to be true (and I find it very true personally) It was long thought of as a myth. Try to stay away from lots of unnatural sugars and salts. Your best bet is to eat a healthy diet. Antioxidants (found in blueberrys and other fruits) are really good, as are omega 3 fatty acids (found in salmon and walnuts). Drinking green tea is also beneficial, but only when its decaffeneited and brewed in your own home. (be sure to watch labels on boxes) Stress contributes to acne as well, so be sure youre getting enough rest and dealing with your overall stress level. A healthy lifestyle will benefit you all around and everything will start to come together from your awareness level to your acne. Be sure to watch your lifestyle, and making some changes accordingly should clear up acne problems. (sometimes lifestyle changes can be difficult, I know)
